Dr. Jim Christopher
Schools Inspector & Adjunct Professor · Vice-Chair, researchED Canada, BC Ministry of Education · City University in Calgary
This session examines how Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction can support an effective and equitable approach within complex, inclusive classrooms. Participants will consider how these principles help neurodiverse students master prescribed outcomes without compromising standards and expectations for all learners. Grounded in Cognitive Load Theory and a 10-year applied research study, the session provides practical examples of how teachers can balance equitable outcomes with accessibility.
